Dual Function, the many styles of contemporary American music are reflected in this
concert by faculty saxophonist Peter Gordon.

Norman David — Solo and Eleventet, faculty saxophonist David returns with a
program that features his || piece band. An evening of original music influenced by
Mingus, Rivers, Braxton, etc.

The Donald Harrison Quartet/Light From The North, Donald Harrison and
Robert Ricketts, two of the area’s outstanding young saxophonists divide this program.
Both players lead their respective groups in an evening of contemporary jazz.

At Night With Not Too Much Light, brothers Frank and Leo Quintero direct a
program of jazz/rock music for their ten piece group.

Berkiee Film Festival — Reel 4, Film Scoring Chairman, Don Wilkins coordinates his
annual presentation of original films that feature scores by Berklee composers.

David Rosenthal/Jarczyk & Sjoerdinga Quartet, multikeyboardist David Rosenthal
and his quartet open this divided concert of contemporary jazz. The second half features
the Jan Jarczyk Quartet, a jazz group that showcases the playing and compositional
talents of trombonist/pianist Jan Jarczyk.

Nick Scarmack Quartet/Thornebird, a divided concert featuring the Nick

You Need A Title, Spanish pianist/composer Tomas San Miguel in a program of
contemporary music that mixes the elements of jazz and traditional Spanish music.

Decahedron + I, In Concert, one of the outstanding jazz groups in the area, Ken
Pullig's Decahedron, presents its annual Fall concert.

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to The Forum, an all Berklee production

of Stephen Sondheim’s comedy classic produced by faculty member Tom Martin. This
popular show will be presented on two nights.

Pink & Blue, faculty vocalist Joyce Lucia in a program of contemporary music.

The Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra, directed by Herb Pomeroy, Berkiee's oldest
and most prestigious big band jazz ensemble returns in their annual concert.

Flute & Friends lI/A Cheeze Little Burger, a divided program featuring two
outstanding student groups, the first directed by Lance Martin and the second by Art
Liliard.

Happy Things With Flat Rats & Sail Cats, one of the fun groups of the series in a
program of music that touches on Rock, Country, Blues, and Funk, directed by Mike
Ihde.

Berklee Count Basie Band/Among Friends, another ‘‘two-for-one'’ concert that
presents two big bands, the first half is directed by faculty reed player Berke McKelvey,
and the second half is directed by student Gerardo Suarez.

Holiday Concert — Berklee Concert & Jazz Choirs, the annual Vocal Department
Holiday Concert, directed by chairman Brian O'Connell, features a mix of traditional
and jazz music.

Music Education Jazz Band/Another Sound Idea, an evening of big band music
featuring a divided program with two outstanding groups, directed by Wayne Naus and
Daryl Stogryn respectively. %
