An evening of original music influenced by Mingus, Rivers, Braxton, etc. The Donald Harrison Quartet/Light From The North, Donald Harrison and Robert Ricketts, two of the area’s outstanding young saxophonists divide this program. Both players lead their respective groups in an evening of contemporary jazz. At Night With Not Too Much Light, brothers Frank and Leo Quintero direct a program of jazz/rock music for their ten piece group. Berkiee Film Festival — Reel 4, Film Scoring Chairman, Don Wilkins coordinates his annual presentation of original films that feature scores by Berklee composers. David Rosenthal/Jarczyk & Sjoerdinga Quartet, multikeyboardist David Rosenthal and his quartet open this divided concert of contemporary jazz.
