PROFILES
JOHN BARRETT (Director) holds a Master's Degree in Theatre from
Catholic University, Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor's Degree in
Theatre from Boston College.
He has appeared at many of the Northeast's finest regional
theatres including The Theatre Company of Boston, also Arena Stage
of Washington, D.C., and the CTA of Baltimore, Maryland.
As a director, John has twice won the Washington, D.C. area One-
Act Play Contest. Most recently he staged The Prime of Miss Jean
Brody at Wellesley College.
JOHN J. DELORENZO (Choreographer) holds a Master of Education
Degree in counseling from Northeastern University in Boston, and a
Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Theatre from Boston
College.
FORUM marks Jack's second production at Berklee, the first being
Break-a-Leg in 1979 which he choreographed and also appeared in (as
a last minute substitute).
Jack was Director of Drama at Ursuline Academy in Dedham for 8
years. He currently is in his second year at Arlington Catholic's
guidance department, still finding time to direct for Catholic
Memorial High School.
RICHARD MCKENZIE (Stage Manager) holds a J.D. from Suffolk
University of Boston and a Bachelor's Degree in Government and Theatre
from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Rick's theatre
experience began with the Boston Children's Theatre, continued during
college with numerous on-stage appearances as well as stage manage-
ment and other capacities.
Presently, Rick maintains a law practice in Boston, but continues
to work in theatre at Wellesley College, and the Vokes Players in Way-
land. Recent productions include Three Sisters, Arsenic and Old Lace,
and The Hostage.
THOMAS R. MARTIN (Producer/Musical Director) holds a Bachelor's
Degree in Composition from Berklee and a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre
from Boston College. FORUM is Tom's 3rd production with Berklee. He
recently directed Steamer with Marnie Andrews and Break-a-Leg in which
he also appeared in a cameo role.
Tom spent 4 seasons as Musical Director for Keene, NH Summer
Theatre, working on Mame, Hello Dolly, South Pacific and many others.
The summer of 1978 was spent at Opryland, USA, in Nashville as Pianist/
bandleader for over 250 performances of SHOWBOAT '78, a musical revue.
Locally, Tom has worked for community theatres and area colleges,
especially Boston College, where shows spanning the past 10 years in-
clude Damn Yankees, Cabaret, and Man of LaMancha.
