interaction and possible movement among the crowd. Be prepared.

TECHNICAL RIDER
The following document includes all the technical requirements and backline needs to be provided
by the PURCHASER/ORGANISER of the show in order to conduct the concert. Please read carefully.

LOAD-IN / SOUNDCHECK
• Minimum of 1 hour to soundcheck on the day of show, at least 1.5 hour before
doors.
• Minimum of 1 hour to load-in prior to soundcheck.

P.A. / CONSOLE / MONTIORS
*NOTE: The complete system must be up and running upon arrival of band for load-in*
• A high quality PA-system is required, capable of delivering a clean and undistorted
sound, with a uniform coverage of venue, including balconies or similar seating at
120dB. It must have an effective frequency response of 25Hz to 20kHz and be
totally free of hum and noise.
• Minimum 16 channel mixer
• Minimum of 3 monitors required with seperate mixes
• Cables sufficient for the microphones and monitor needs as listed.

BACKLINE
*NOTE: All backline is requested to be at venue 1hr prior to load-in.*
Musical Instruments
• Steve Umculo will supply acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, cymbals.
• The venue will supply skeleton drum kit (including minimum snare, kick, two toms
and all necessary hardware), keyboard
Instrument Amplifiers
• Amplifiers to be provided by venue
Extras
• Microphone stands: 7 boom, 2 short boom
• Carpet: 1 (for drums); minimum 3x2m
• Venue must provide all microphones listed below
• Venue must provide all DIs EXCEPT for Acoustic Guitar

LIGHTING
The PURCHASER agrees to provide a professional lighting rig sufficient to illuminate the
stage and artist while the house lights are down, with the ability to create at least 4
different colour scenes.

• Minimum dimensions of stage: 8x4m

HUMAN RESOURCES / PERSONELL
*NOTE: All personnel must have previous experience in events and with their respective systems.
All will be available during load-in, soundcheck, show, and breakdown.*
• 1 front of house engineer
• 1 stagehand / loader to assist with load-in, setup and breakdown.
• 1 professional lighting technician and necessary assistants familiar with the system.
• Steve Umculo requires that the venue/festival permit 1 complementary entry per band
member
• Steve Umculo requires that the venue/festival permit entry for Steve Umculo’s personal
photographer
