Berklee City Music is designed to provide students attending Boston,
Cambridge, Somerville, and Chelsea high schools the opportunity to
learn basic music skills, develop their love of music, and provide guid-
ance and support for those seeking to further their musical talents and
education. This year Berklee College of Music provided 50 SYSTEM-5
scholarships, 39 of which went to Boston students. The remaining
scholarships were awarded to students from partner-cities listed above,
and City Music Network sites in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and

Washington D.C.
