BERKLEE PERFORMANCE CENTER CONCERTS
Spring ‘84

January 30 Double Concert— FULL CIRCLE/THE DOUGLAS WINGATE
GROUP - An evening of original compositions in a
variety of instrumental settings is presented by
keyboardist Karl Lundeberg. The Douglas Wingate
Group will present a program of high energy
music composed and arranged by the members of
the group. §
January 31 OUT AT HOME - Original jazz-rock featuring the
talents of Jim Odgren is presented by guitarist
Jim Kelly of the Berklee faculty.
Tebruary 1 EXTRAVAGANCED GRANDIZEMENT - The first half of
the concert will feature a large percussion/wind
orchestra playing a program that blends jazz,
rock, afro and other ethnic influences. The second
half will feature contemporary jazz by Minotour.
February 6 CROSSBREEZE - Faculty guitarist Ken Jaft leads
his group through a program of fusion music that
features synthesized guitar and lyricon.
February 7 SCREAMUS FUNKUS - The Berklee "Tower Of Power"
ensemble UPLANDS strikes again with another high
energy performance of progressive pop/rock.
February 8 JAN JARCZYK SOLO, QUARTET AND 12 PIECE ORCHESTRA
— Jan Jarczyk returns to the Berklee Performance
Center stage to present an evening of original
compositions written for a variety of settings.
February 9 UN POCO LOCO — Original latin music, featuring
the talents of saxophonist Allan Chase,
drummer/vibrophonist Ed Uribe and vocalist Mili
Berme jo is presented by Berklee faculty member
Victor Mendoza.
