About Music Director Arnie Roth

Music Director Arnie Roth is a Grammy-winning artist known for his work with
performers including Il Divo, Diana Ross, Jewel, the Irish Tenors, and Charlotte
Church, to name a few. As a conductor, Roth has worked with the London Symphony
Orchestra, the Hollywood Bowl Philharmanic, the BBC Symphony, the Czech National
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and countless
others nationally and internationally.



Roth is well known in the world of video game music for his work with Nobuo Uematsu and SQUARE
ENIX as music director and conductor of the FINAL FANTASY touring performances Dear Friends,

More Friends, and Voices, as well as his role as music director and conductor of Play! AVideo Game
Symphony. His score for the film Barbie as Rapunzel/ won the Best Score Award at the 2003 DVD Premier
Awards, and he was nominated for an Emmy in 2007 for his song “Shine” from the movie Barbie in the

Yoko Shimomura

Composer and pianist Yoko Shimomura joined Japanese video game production
company Square in 1993 after graduating from Osaka Music School. Prior to her
employment with Square, Yoko worked for Capcom, where she composed the
majority of the score to the legendary fighting game Street Fighter Il: The World
Warrior. Since then, she has composed many well-known video game scores,
including works for Front Mission, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars,
Parasite Eve, Legend of Mana, and, most notably, the Kingdom Hearts series.



Shimomura made her debut as a FINAL FANTASY series music composer with Hataraku Chocobo,
although her first major contribution to the series was the score for FINAL FANTASY XV, released in 2016.
Yoko continues to work as a freelance composer for SQUARE ENIX and others, having now composed
music for more than 45 video games.

Susan Calloway

Vocalist Susan Calloway has gained thousands of new fans for her vocal work for the
bestselling video game franchise FINAL FANTASY. Susan was chosen personally by
soundtrack composer Nobuo Uematsu to sing the original theme song, "Answers,"
for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, and the theme song,"Dragonsong,” for FINAL
FANTASY XIV: Heavensward. Susan began her musical career as a singer-songwriter
for the popular American band Red C, of which she was a founding member. After
leaving Red C to focus her career as a solo artist, Calloway released her first EP in 2010, and its title
track, "Chasin the Sun,” climbed to no. 37 on national rock charts. She is working on songs for a new
album to be released later this year, which will officially establish her as a mainstream recording artist.
