Berklee Performance Center Concerts

Fall ’84

November 19 INTROSPECTION — Straight ahead jazz will be
presented by Percussionist Ronald Savage and his
quintet. Special guests will include James
Gates and Richard Hollyday.

November 26 AMONG FRIENDS — Drummer Koji Ono offers an
s evening of original jazz showcasing the talents
of Alto Saxophonist Ben Schachter.

November 27 Double Concert—-BOP CITY/MASS TRANSIT - Faculty
member Cheryl Hodge will lead her group Bop City
through a potpourri of jazz vocal arrangements.
The second half will feature Mass Transit with
The Red Line directed by Charles Sorrento. The
program will include Top 40, Jazz, Traditional
and latin styles.

November 28 Double Concert-MATSURI II/LOOKING FOR MY MUSIC -
Guitarist Steve Pang and his group Steve's Donba
start off this two-for-one concért with a
program of rock-fusion with Special guest
Faculty Percussionist Jun Saito. 1In the second
half Bassist Naoki Ninomiya leads his sextet
through a program of contemporary jazz.

November 29 BERKLEE SINGERS SHOWCASE III - Once again
Berklee showcases some of the top student
vocalists. Backed up by one of the hottest
bands in the college, this concert promises to
be one of the best of the semester.

December 3 JIM MOSLEY PRODUCTIONS - A program ranging from
Contemporary to Instrumental Funk is presented
by Saxophonist James Mosley, "The Band" and
Special Guest Faculty Saxophonist Herman Johnson.
