The Performers
Global Rhythms out of Miami University, Ohio, is an ensemble
formed two years ago which uses percussion and instrument
traditions from all over the world. They have been featured at
leading centers all around the USA including the University of North
Texas, Indiana University, University of,Oklahoma, and at the
Percussvie Arts Society International Convention. This upcoming
Fall Global Rhythms will perform atCornell University, LSU, and
Rochester.
Directed by Srinivas Krishnan, Global Rhythms relies on melodic
and rhythmic variations from the Musical Tradition of India and
incorporates music from other cultures on several of their con-
certs.

Terpin, Kristina Winters,Katie Sue Ray, Greg Thorkelson, Matthew
Allen, Siddhartha Rao, Pat Richey, Corey Keighley and Holly
Sennhenn.

Michele Gingras (Clarinet), Josh Moss (Piano), Roger Davis (Bass
guitar), Sathish Pathakota (Mridangam and Kanjira), Kiran
Pathakota (Mridangam), Hafiz Shabazz (African hand drums), Jason
Koontz (Steel Pan).
Visting artists and Berklee faculty
Horacio “El Negro, Hernandez, Casey Scheuerell, Equie Castillo,
John Santos, Walfredo Reyes, Sr., Steve Wilkes, Ron Reid, Winnie
Dahlgren, Vessela Stoyonova, Chie Suzuki, Ryan Gruss, Victor
Mendoza, Mohamad Camara, and Jerry Leake will perform as well.
