David Friend Recital Hall Concerts

October 23 - Bruce Katz Band - Four piece instrumental blues/jazz/roots
music with B-3 Hammond Organ led by piano department faculty member
Bruce Katz and featuring faculty member Julien Kasper, guitar, Ralph
Rosen, drums, Blake Neuman, bass.s

October 24 -The Psychic Horns - The Psychic Horns, “ a 7 piece instru-
mental band with 3 horns play slammin funk, jazz, and Latin music led by
Associate Professor CWP department Dan Moretti. Featured solists
include John Allmark, trumpet and John Wheeler, trombone, compositions
and arrangements written by Dan Moretti and John Allmark.

October 25 — Kris Adams Quintet — Featuring faculty members Shannon
LeClaire, saxophone, Steve Prosser, piano, Paul Del Nero, bass and Bob
Tamagni, drums, faculty vocalist Kris Adams presents selections from her
upcoming CD including standards and compositions by Steve Swallow,
Jimmy Rowles, Abbey Lincoln, Baden Powell and Phil Markowitz.

October 30 — Chameleon - Directed by faculty vocalist Gwen Leathers
and produced by Claude Kelly, Chameleon is a musical journey through
different styles of music featuring some of the finest students and faculty
Berklee has to offer.

November 1 - Jason Camelio Master Recital - This concert will feature
new compositions for jazz octet by Jason Camelio (Jazz Master Program
Recital). Top students, staff, faculty and Berklee alums make up the
group that will perform these unique, original pieces.

November 6 — Nial Djuliarso - Duo, trio and quartet performing jazz
standards and originals.

November 19 — Jazz Vocal Series - Under the direction of faculty vocalist
Maggi Scott, student vocalists will perform jazz standards accompanied
by a faculty rhythm section including Scott on piano.

December 17 - The Berklee String Orchestra - Under the direction of

faculty cellist Eugene Friesen this group will play contemporary music for
strings.
