Berklee Performance Center Concerts

November 1 - Visions — Voice department faculty member Jerome Kyles
and his group Divinity are joined by special guest faculty vocalist Gabrielle
Goodman for an evening of inspirational, pop and rhythm and blues
styles.

November 5 — Winds Day 2001 - The Brass and Woodwind departments
hold their annual concert featuring faculty from the respective depart-
ments.

The first half will feature the Berklee Brass Quintet (Christine Fawson &
Know Summerour, trumpets; Alan Brown, horn; Bruce Bertrand, trom-
bones; Robynn, bass trombone). The second half will feature guest artist
saxophonist Donald Harrison.

November 8 — Contemporary Writing Production Department Concert —
Under the direction of George Hargan and Bob Doezema, the Contempo-
rary Writing and Production department present their faculty performing
original arrangements and compositions in a variety of styles including .
contemporary funk, Latin, world Music and hard bop. Cu

November 13 - Singers Night - Outstanding student vocalists represent-
ing all semester levels will perform in a variety of styles including jazz,

rock, R&B, country and Latin under the direction of Voice faculty member oy
Adrianna Balic. The singers will be backed by a faculty rhythm section.

November 19 — West African Music & Dance - A night of traditional
Ghanaian music from the Ewe people and Afro -pop presented by percus-
sion department faculty member Joe Galeota. Special guest groups .WAV
and Mirimbira.

November 29 — Singers’ Showcase — This semester’s show will be -
featuring the music of Seal, Boyz Il Men,U2, Al Kooper, Jonatha Brooke,

Tony Bennett, and “The Wiz". Featured singers include Alison Bordlemay,

Gina Cuchetti, Claude Kelly, Jason Joseph, Chrissi Poland, Laura Thomas,

Jana Sadler, Nicole Hurst, Kojo Littles, Rashidra Scott, Tia Marie Talbert, e
Dee Lavender, and Yvonne Williams.
