Teaching Music to Students with Autism

The Conservatory is a leader in music education for
individuals on the autism spectrum through its Autism
Spectrum Programs, which have been featured in the press
in the Boston Globe and on WBUR. Would you like to learn
specific teaching strategies to reach all of your students? Join
the session to learn how you can adapt your teaching, modify |
assignments, and accommodate students with autism and
other cognitive challenges or disabilities. The session will end
with an interactive Q&A, so please bring your questions.

What's the 411? Remixing Digital Resources in

the Stan Getz and Albert Alphin Libraries

The Stan Getz and Albert Alphin Libraries are in the
process of remixing their output. The information behaviors
and needs of the students, faculty, and staff constantly

shift during the most dynamic period of our institutional
memory. This session will highlight electronic developments
of the libraries’ collections and services. Presenters will
showcase six electronic resources (WhoSampled?, Hit Songs
Deconstructed, IPA Source, Academic Search Complete,
Kanopy, and Statista) intended to support the curricular and
professional information needs of our community.
