...first as a student (September 1967
graduating in 1972) then as a teacher

Studies Department (1983-1993) and vice
president for Special Programs from 1993
to the present, | have decided to retire

on March 16, 2018. It has been an
amazing journey being able to work with
Berklee students, alumni, staff, faculty,
administrators, Summer Programs,
Concert Operations, Video Services,

the Yo Team, visiting artists, Berklee
presidents Lawrence Berk, Lee Berk,

and Roger Brown, and, of course,

Bl AFTER 50 YEARS AT BERKLEE,

amazing Berklee Performance Center
audiences. There have been many highs
and a few lows but never a dull moment.
It has been the experience of a lifetime,
a vision and place | dedicated my life to
and one that my family and | care about
deeply. | want to thank my wife Jodie;
our five children Dawn, J-Jay, Summer,
Jodie-May, and James; our nine
grandchildren; my father and mother,
Don and Sophie Rose; my three brothers,
Don, Steve, Dave; and their families.
They all made it possible.
