Zeltsman - Performances by two Marimba Performance Labs, the Ma-
rimba Transcriptions and Repertoire Lab, the Marimba in Mixed Chamber
Music Lab, and Berklee solo marimbists.

December 8, 2:00 p.m The Berklee Oregon Ensemble — Woodwind
department faculty member Barbara La Fitte presents this student
ensemble performing music from the renowned quartet as well as some
student originals featuring Dan Brantigan, trumpet, Jaleen Hall, oboe &
English Horn, Mads Tolling, violin, John Shannon, guitar, Travis Vance,
bass and Matt Kilmer, percussion.

December 8, 4:00 p.m Pop/Rock Rhythm Section & Vocal Ensemble-
Faculty member Nancy Morris presents her pop/rock vocal ensembles in
performance.

December 8, 7:30 p.m Latin Jazz Ensembles- Faculty member Oscar
Stagnaro presents the Latin jazz ensemble in performance.

December 11, 2:00 p.m ECM Ensemble - Facutly member Bruno Raberg
leads an ensemble featuring compositions by Kenny Wheeler, Dave
Holalnd, Keith Jarrett and others.

December 11, 4:00 p.m Music Of Lennie Tristano- Facutly member
Mitch Seidman presents the music of Lennie Tristano and his associates
including Lee Konitz, Warne Marsh and others characterized by intricate
melodies over standard chord changes.

December 11, 7:30 p.m Performer/Songwriter Showcase - The ten
winners from the recent competition will perform their songs in a variety
of styles including pop, rock, alternative and hip-hop, supported by the
Performer/Songwriter band and produced by faculty member John
Stevens.

December 12, 2:00 p.m Small Group Jazz Ensemble- Professor Andy
McGhee leads a five piece ensemble performing straight ahead jazz
compositions and standards.

December 12, 4:00 p.m Jazz Vocal Ensemble- Faculty member Maggie
Scott presents her student vocalists with this ensemble in performance.

December 12, 7:30 p.m Country Music Ensemble - Faculty member
Mike |hde presents a variety of country music styles performed by this
ensemble.
