Faculty trombonist Charles Lewis leads two student Brass quintets in this ensemble
performance.

4 p.m. Klezmer Ensemble 5
Faculty member Michael Wartofsky presents the Klezmer ensemble in performance.

7 p.m. The Berklee Dave Holland Ensemble
Faculty member Lello Molinari presents Berklee's Dave Holland ensemble performing the
music of the renowned bassist.

December 8

2 p.m. Big Band -O-Rama

Ensemble department faculty members Jerry Cecco, Brian Land is lead student big bands
performing jazz and funk. At 4:00 p.m. Faculty member Ed Tomassi presents a student big
band performing the music of Thad Jones and Mel Lewis.

7:30 p.m. Marimba Lab
Under the direction of faculty member Nancy Zeltsman student marimba players perform
original music and compositions by various artists.

December 9

2 p.m. Advanced Repertory Workshop

Ensemble Department faculty member Dave Fontaine presents students of Advanced
Repertory workshop in an afternoon toryn performance.

4 p.m. Berklee Cedar Walton Ensemble
Directed by faculty member Marcello Pelliteri, a student ensemble plays compositions by
Cedar Walton.

7:30 p.m. Performer/Songwriter Showcase

The ten winners from the recent competition will perform their songs in a variety of styles
including pop, rock, alternative and hip-hop, supported by the Performer/Songwriter band
and produced by faculty member John Stevens.

December 10
2 p.m. Berklee's Funk Ensembles
Directed by Bruce Nifong.

4 p.m. Berklee's James Brown &Jimi Hendrix Ensembles
Directed by faculty member Kenwood Dennard, a student ensemble plays the music of
James Brown followed by another ensemble performing the music of Jimi Hendrix.
