Berklee Performance Center Concerts

September 26 - Robin Stone - Original rock for 5 pieces presented
by guitar department faculty member Robin Stone.

October 2 — The Death of Simone Weil - An improvisational can-
tata-music by Darrell Katz, text by Paula Tatarunis—will be pre-
sented by faculty member Darrell Katz conducting the 18-pice Jazz
Composers Orchestra and featuring vocalist Rebecca Shrimpton.

October 4 - Kaye Kelly Group/Jude Crossen — Berklee faculty
vocalist Kaye Kelly presents a selection of songs from her debut
album, Coming Undone. Folk rock originals will be performed by
her band including faculty members Tony Germain, piano and Eric
Byers, guitar and other special guests. Original pop/rock singer/
songwriter faculty vocalist Jude Crossen performss with a six piece
band featuring Berklee faculty members Adriana Balic, voice, Dave
Cowan, drums as well as students and alumnus.

October 9 — Hidden From View — Original music which fuses
technology and improvisation with varied musical styles and
rhythms reflecting America’s diverse melting pot of multi-ethnic
influences will be performed by Moksha-an 8-piece ensemble
under the direction of faculty trumpeter Wayne Naus. Faculty
members performing include Dino Govoni, sax, Joe Mulholland,
synthsizer, Michael Farquharson, bass, Bob Schlink, viotar and
Berke McKelvey, atmospheres.

October 10 - Greg Hopkins - 16 piece jazz orchestra.

October 15 - Emiko Segawa Jazz Vocal Concert/ One In Ten: The
Music of Marco Panascia — Emiko Segawa presents original jazz
for sextet. Then Bassist Marco Panascia presents original jazz in
settings ranging from trio to nonet and featuring faculty members
Phil Wilson, trombone, Greg Hopkins, trumpet and Ed Tomassi,
saxophone.
