The Berklee Film Festival was established in 1977 to
preview the works of film makers, from local colleges
and universities, whose soundtracks have been scored
at Berklee. These films, some two dozen to date,
have provided an excellent outlet for those students
interested not only in the area of film scoring, but
also audio recording and soundtrack performance. In
return, the film maker receives an original score,
tailored to the specific needs of the film. This
festival is the premier screening for many of these
films, some of which have gone on to win major fest-
ivals and national recognition.
