BERKLEE PERFORMANCE CENTER CONCERTS

BACK BAY BONES/BACK BAY BRASS Directed by Ben
Elkins. The Back Bay Bones, consisting of ten
trombones plus rhythm, will play arrangements
written especially for the group. The Back Bay
Brass, a seventeen piece Big Band will feature
the music of Stan Kenton, Rob McConnell and
other well-known Big Bands.



AN EVENING WITH THE DUES BAND - Directed by Phil
Wilson, the Berklee International Dues Band will
perform compositions and arrangements by some of
Berklee's most talented writers, featuring many
outstanding musicians.

FOR WES...The Price Is Right Big Band - Student
Trumpeter Richard Price will lead a 19 piece Big

Band through an exciting program of swing, funk,
scat and samba arrangements.

KELLY PARK/NIELS LAN DOKY CONCERT - A program ot
original contemporary jazz compositions in both
Big Band and quartet settings showcasing the
talents of student pianist Niels Lan Doky 1is
presented by faculty drummer Kelly Park.


















ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT -BERKLEE CONCERT BAND - In
its annual Spring concert, the Berklee Concert
Band will present a varied program of
contemporary music. One highlight of the
evening will be a performance of '"Jupiter
Effect" composed by faculty tubist Greg Fritze.

Apral 12 DOUBLE CONCERT: KLAUS SUONSAARI QUINTET WITH
SPECIAL GUEST BILL PIERCE/ STRAIGHT AHEAD

FEATURING THE KEITH GIBSON SEXTET - Klaus

Suonsaari will kick off this 2 for 1 concert
with compositions by Hancock, Shorter and Silver
as well as some originals. The remainder of the
concert will feature a pr&gram of straight ahead
and contemporary jazz presented by Keith Gibson
