July 10 CARIBBEAN EXPRESS - Student saxophonist Eduardo
Berinstein leads his octet through propgram of
original latin, jazz and fusion compoesitions.





Double Concert - MASHI AND FRIENDS/AMONG FRIENDS
The first half of the concert will showcase an
instrumental pop—jazz quintet led by student
guitarist Mashi Hasu. Directed by Koji Ono, the
second half will feature original jazz and samba
compositions and arrangements by Kimmori
Astsuta, Ben Schachter and Koji Ono.









ONE, TWO, FREE - A concert featuring the
original compositions of Scott Free, Matt

Marvuglio and David DeGrand is preseand by
faculty guitarist Scott Free.









Double Concert - ORIENTAL POWER II/SCOTT ROSE
QUARTET PLUS - Keyboardist Jenny Chin leads her
group through a program of original compositions
and arrangements, Jazz improvisation featuring a
saxophone trio is presented by alto saxophonist
Scott Rose and his group.








MUSIC FOR ART - The Haruno Group, led by Haruno
Shitara, will perform original compositions and
arrangements in a variety of musical settings.
