David Friend Recital Hall Concerts

July 22 - Dave Weigert and Stephan Kammerer — Faculty drummer
Dave Weigert is joined by saxophonist Stephan Kammerer ‘97 for a
concert of original music in the ECM jazz style with Steve Elliot ‘00, guitar
and faculty bassist John Pierce.

July 28 - Mitch Seidman Group - Originals and jazz standards will be
performed by faculty guitarist Mitch Seidman and his group.

August 2 - Piano Students of Edward C. Bedner — A solo piano recital
presented by students of Ed Bedner—Akiko Kataoka , Sun Hee Kim,
Reiko Miyoshi, Masami Tomihisa—will feature music by Bach,
Beethoven, Chopin and Takemitsu.

August 4 - Five Week Program Performing Songwriter Showcase —
Facutly member Kristin Cifelli presents students performing original

songs in various styles backed up by a full rhythm section.
