Pierre Favre’s and Fredy Studer personal musical relationship exists
since 1970. The musical relationship between Favre and Studer is
contrapuntal, arid consists of two independent voices, which complement
each other and thus form a whole. Their music is partly conceptualized
and composed, yet leaves freedom from the element of improvisation.
Their “orchestral” performance emerges from a rich range of sound
colors, fashioned mainly with metal, skins and various small percussion
instruments.
