Continuous Work ot Art

In this concert, Berklee faculty member Anthony Scibilia (Liberal Arts/Berklee
Global Jazz Institute) will explore the connections between music and visual
art through a series of original compositions and performance pieces. The
featured works employ largely nonstandard compositional procedures in
which visual and sound-based events are intimately intertwined, often liter-
ally giving rise to one another in a process of continuous creation and per-
formance. Many of the elements in this program pay homage to or take
direct inspiration from the musical, visual, and poetical creations of several
artists including Bernard Childs, John Cage, Leonardo da Vinci, and Marcel
Duchamp.
