Tonight's concert is the first of a series of
Berklee Student/Faculty concerts sponsored by the
Berklee Faculty Association., Each concert in this
new series highlights one of the College's depart-
ments, tonight's being produced under the auspices
of the Berklee Harmony Department, headed by Alex
Ulanowsky, Showcasing student compositions written
for advanced harmony courses, the faculty musicians
lend their own interpretation and improvisation to
tunes selected to reflect a variety of contemporary
styles and a broad range of current harmonic practice.
