Ensemble - Soul and funk music of the
famed Tower of Power band performed by
this 5 horn, 5 vocal and 5 rhythm ensemble
under the direction of faculty member
Wayne Naus.
April 20 - Songwriter's Circle - The
Songwriting Department proudly presents
another in the annual Songwriter's Circle
Series featuring four outstanding singer-
songwriters from the Berklee community.
This year's circle will feature: Julian Peterson,
Jillian Santella, Kyle Hurlbut, and Genevieve
Lopez.

Music/Music of Wayne Shorter Ensemble -
Faculty member David Santoro presents his
student ensemble performing jazz from the
Blue Note recordings of the 1950’s and '60s
followed by the music of Wayne Shorter.

Faculty member David Santoro presents his
student ensemble performing straight ahead
jazz.
April 21 - 4:00 pm — Contemporary Christian
Ensemble — Faculty member Nancy Morris
presents the Contemporary Christian
Ensemble in performance.
April 21 - 7:30 pm - Invitation - Faculty
member Walter Beasley presents his ensem-
ble performing classic and contemporary
rhythm and blues by Smokey Robinson, Anita
Baker, Eryka Badu, Lauren Hill and others.

Metheny and David "Fathead" Newman. i

Hendrix-Student ensemble performance led
by faculty member Kenwood Dennard.
April 22 - 7:30 pm - Jetro Dasilva - Faculty
member Jetro Dasilva presents his student
ensemble in performance.
April 25 - 4:00 pm — The Berklee Joni
Mitchell Ensemble - Faculty guitarist Abby
Aronson Zocher directs this ensemble playing
their own arrangements of Ms. Mitchell's
music for rhythm sections, violin, cello, guitar
and vocals.
April 25 - 7:30 pm - Blazing Fingers — The
Berklee Country Music Ensemble under the
direction of faculty guitarist Mike Ihde, per-
forms top country hits as well as instrumen-
tals in classic country, western swing, and
rockabilly styles. An exciting and entertain-
ing evening of Hot Country and Blazing
Instrumentals performed by Berklee's best .
