Jamie Washington Jamie Washington has served as an educator, administrator, and consultant in higher education for more than 30 years. He is president and founder of the Washington Consulting Group, a multicultural organizational development firm in Baltimore, Maryland. He also is president and cofounder of the Social Justice Training Institute, as well as president of the American College Personnel Association. He recently was honored with the University of Maryland Baltimore County's Legends of Excellence Award for his contribution to the lives and education of black and Latinx faculty, staff, and students. Maura Cullen Cullen, the author of 35 Dumb Things Well- Intended People Say: Surprising Things We Say That Widen the Diversity Gap, is an acclaimed diversity trainer who has educated and inspired people worldwide on how to be more inclusive, understanding, and authentic when communicating with others. She is known for breaking down difficult topics into practical applications, giving people the vital skills needed to make immediate and significant change. Cullen is a founding faculty member for the Social Justice Training Institute and a higher education student affairs professional.
