20 Concurrent Session Il Russia. Although she may be best known as a teacher and choreographer of jazz dance, her 30 years of experience in the field of dance have been wide-ranging and diverse. Throughout her career, she has been immersed as a performer and choreographer in modern and postmodern dance, improvisation and contact improvisation, and ballet, which was central to her training and development. Young received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and women'’s studies from Harvard University and a Master of Fine Arts in dance from the University of lllinois. Young demonstrates an outstanding commitment to continuous professional growth and integrity in the studio and the classroom.
