teaching was considered a very high calling, and it has never occurred
to me to be any different, and | stil?feel that way. So many musicians
are teaching as a second choice- sometimes third and fourth- which is
a dangerous situation. I'm not doing that. I've never separated teaching
from performing. It's all about communication. | wanted to have this
session really reinforce the idea that teaching is a high calling and
tremendous?; important-now more than ever!”
