He is the recepient of a Dance/ Theatre Scholarship from the American Dance Festival, and has worked backstage with the Boston Ballet and the Goldovsky Light Opera Co. Brenner is the founder and former editor of Works In Progress, a Brown University literary arts magazine. MICHAEL GIBBS Composer-In-Residence Michael Gibbs has produced arrangements for recordings by such major artists as Joni Mitchell, John McLaughlin, Cleo Laine, Stanley Clark, Gary Burton and Jan Akkerman. Gibbs has recorded six albums of his own, including the acclaimed "Only Chrome Waterfall Orchestra.'" He has also composed several film scores and music for the popular British television series "The Goodies." JAMES NICHOLAS PLUMB James Plumb's professional dance performance credits include appearances throughout the United States performing modern choreography by Pilobus Dance Theatre, Jose Limon, Doris Humphry, Charles Weidman, Bill Evans and many others. He has choreographed for modern dance companies, theatre productions and television commercials, and was recently selected as one of the top 15 choreographers in this year's State Arts Choreographers Fellow- ship Competition.
