BERKLEE PERFORMANCE C,?TER CONCERTS THE REGINALD LOFTON CONCERT - Composer/drummer Reginald Lofton offers an exciting evening of many musical styles including funk, rock, pop and reggae. THE BERKLEE JAZZ ORCHESTRA - Directed by Herb Pomeroy, this is the most prestigious ensemble in the college in a program of contemporary Big Band music. THE BERKLEE JAZZ CHOIR IN CONCERT - Directed by Steve Prosser. From pop to rock to jazz, latin and folk, this concert will feature a cappella arrangements of music by Toto, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Kings Singers and Don Ellis. GUITAR NITE VII - Guitar Department Chairman, William G. Leavitt presents an evening of guitar music including jazz, classical, country and rock. A tradition at Berklee, Guitar Nite is one of the most anticipated Performance Center concerts at the college. PERCUSSION UNLIMITED - Directed by Dean Anderson The Percussion Department's most advanced performing ensembles will present an evening of new, contemporary percussion literature featuring works by Cage, Gibbs and Kraft. THE SPRING SING THING with the Berklee Contemporary Choir directed by Tom Martin, Mass Transit directed by Charles J. Sorrento and introducing the Berklee Jazz Korale - The annual Spring Voice Department concert will spotlight three talented choral ensembles performing contemporary music ranging in style for "Singers Unlimgted" to Persichetti.
