April | Percussion Unlimited, charman Dean Anderson and other members of the Percussion
Department stage ther annual Spring Concert of nnovative percussion music .

Apri 2 7 + § Makes 12, faculty member Andy Jaffe presents a program that features two ]
outstanding 1azz groups. Followmng a first half that features hi quintet, pranist Jaffe-closes out
the evening with some big band 1azz.

April 3 DeeKolmnlWEade.DeeKdnma.amemberloeBerkleeFaflflty.
brings her own kind of jazz to the Performance Center. Also sharing the evening will be
vocalst Dominique Eade. &

April 7 Andrea & The Magnificent Eleven, vocalist Andrea Sommerstein leads an eleven man P
ensemble of Berklee's finest in a concert that blends a variety of contemporary music styles.

Apri 8 An Evening With The Dues Band, one of Berklee's most prestigious student
ensembles. directed by Phil Wiison, comes out swinging with an evenwng of big band jazz.

Aprl 9  Faculty Chamber Concert, an evening of chamber music coordinated by faculty
member Jerorimas Kacinskas.

Apri 10 Berkiee Trombone Choirs in Concert, faculty trombonists Tom Pisek. Phil Wikson.
and kham Peugh combine efforts to present therr respective Trombone Choirs in 3 cross- L
sectional program of music.

April 14 Aipotu, facuity member Quinous Johnson. one of the area’s finest drummers. presents an
evening of musi tha: brioges the many styles of today s mustc.

Aprd 16 Steamer, cne of Berklee's most versatie performers. Marnie Andrews. presents a
program of music that showcases her many and diverse talents.

Apri 2| The Back Bay Boppers, Hendrik Meurkens feacs his unique iittle group in it first
Performance Center concert. comprised of straghit-ahead be bop i a most unlikely
musical setting.

Aprii 22 -Mix & Match, a dvided program that features the taients of Mim Brodsky and
Ciare Bureau respectively, two of Berklee s finest young vocalists.

Apri 23 The Billy Norine Group, percussionist Bili Norine, a member of the faculty. present an i
evening of small group contemporary jazz.

Aoril 24 The Meeting, panist Jeff Covell, a member of the Berklee facult,. directs his small proup
through a program of contemporary jazz.

April 28 The Berklee Concert Band, i their Spring concert, the Concert Band features guest
faculty soloists Deanna Kidd and Thomas Martin in the premier of a new work by
Conductor Peter Hazzard.

April 29 Doing My Thing, in her first BPC concert. Micha! Beckham offers a program of music
that reflects the many styles of today’s scene. Matt Quinn directs the back-up group for this
most talented young performer.

April 30 Guitar Nite IV, the annual Spring block-buster by Berklee's multi-faceted Guitar <
Department directed by Chairman Willam Leavitt, this concert never fails to impress.
