PERSONNEL BONZO BADBACH (class of '62) majored in Cowbell and Song Lyrics, and was never able to complete his requirements for Listening/Analysis. Being such an accomplished musician, he was able to find work with such greats as Woody Ferman, Duece Cannon, Count Debasie, The Breather Brothers, and Al Herbah & The Marijuana Brass Band (or Slim Whitman). At the peak of his career tragedy struck when Bonzo tried to blow-dry his hair while taking a shower. The Jazz-Rock Ensemble is deeply touched by having known and loved this unique musician. Perhaps Howard Cosell said it best in Bonzo's eulogy: "He was a truly fine and gifted athelete." - ¥ * * * * * * * Trumpets: TONY GORRUSO, Buffalo, New York; RICHARD PRICE, East Provi- dence, Rhode Island; STEVE LOMBARDI, Philipsburg, New Jer- sey; MIKE MORRIS, Greensboro, North Carolina Trombones: ROCK "BONZO" CICCARONE, Warren, Ohio (M.G.M.); PHIL QUIDORT, Cleveland, Ohio; JOHN PIERCE, Setauket, New York, TYRONE JEFFERSON, Boston, Massachusetts Reeds: MARK PINTO, Buffalo, New York; WALTER BEASLEY, E1 Centro, Cali- fornia; JAMES DOUGLAS WEBB, Huntington Beach, Califormia; RICHARD TURCO4 Boston, Massachusette; WENDY SWEDBERG; Albu- querque, New’Mexico Bass: EDWIN LUCIE, Huntington, New York Guitar: PAUL KRUEGER, Edina, Massachusetts; JONATHAN FINN, Westwood, Massachusetts - Keyboards: TOM LOVE, Valdosta, Georgia; SAM STEFFKE, Menominee, Michigan Drums: RODNEY "OLAF" SMITH, Stockholm, Sweden Percussion: PHIL BENETTE, Greemwich, Connecticut Vocals: MICHAL BECKHAM, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; LENORA HELM, Chi- cago, Illinois; SHEILA "HARMONY" FORD, Baltimore, Mary land; LISA HARRIGAN, New York, New York; LISA ROTSKY, Great Neck, New York; WILLIAM RHINEHART, Columbia, South Carolina; MONTE CROFT, Youngstown, Ohio; MARK LEDFORD, Detroit, Michigan
