Berklee Performance Center Concerts FALL ‘84 October 17 IMPRESSIONS/THE INCREDIBLE FLYING YEWCHUK BROTHERS - In the first half of the concert Ronald Jackson leads his group through an evening of jazz fusion featuring special guest faculty saxophonist Herman Johnson. The second half will feature Jazz/Rock composed and arranged by David Yewchuk. & October 23 TIME JIVES - A program of contemporary jazz is presented by faculty members bassist Greg Mooter, vibraphonist Ed Saindon, guitarist Jackson Schultz and saxophonist Greg Badolato. October 24 Double Concert-LIGHT & SOUND/THIS IS OUT YEAR-ROLAND WILSON QUARTET - A program featuring a variety of musical styles including Avant garde, contemporary and classical is presented by Mike Malone and his group. Bassist Roland Wilson will present an evening of original jazz compositions and arrangements. October 29 CLIFF WITTSTRUCK AND FRIENDS - An gvening of Jazz, Funk, Rock and Blues originals is presented by faculty guitarist Cliff Wittsruck with featured soloists faculty members Jim Kelly, Roy Okutani and Russell Hoffman. October 30 Double Concert-I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO SAY/STRINGS & THINGS: A NEW ACOUSTIC REVIEW - Susan Brna leads her group through a program of Pop, Funk and Rock during the first half of this show. Guitarist Ian Moulding will continue with a program of Jazz and Bluegrass featuring selections by Django Reinhart, John Coltrane and Tony Rice.
