Diane Paulus is the artistic director of the American Repertory
Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University. An innovative and
creative theater director, she crosses boundaries between
genres and art forms, and often uses performance space

in unexpected ways. Diane is known for her award-

winning Broadway productions, including Hair, Porgy and
Bess, Pippin, and Finding Neverland. Her diverse background
in dance, music, and theater makes her the ideal person to
speak to our theme of Remix and Mastery at our first post-
merger BTOT.
