BERKLEE PERFORMANCE CENTER CONCERTS Spring ’'84 THE BERKLEE WIND ENSEMBLE - Faculty tubist Gregory Fritze leads his group through a program highlighted by the premiere performances of Composition Department Chairman William Maloof's "Essay fo Band" as well as an award winning student composition. THE STUDIO ORCHESTRA CONCERT - Facultf conductor/composer/arranger Donny Nolan conducts this orchestra through an evening featuring new original compositions and the vocal talents of Charles Pettigrew, Darelle Holden, Scarlett Antoloczy and David Whitworth. PERCUSSION UNLIMITED - Compositions by John Cage, Steve Reich and Berklee faculty composer William Maloof will be featured in this concert directed by Chairman of the Percussion Department Dean Anderson. BERKLEE SINGERS'SHOWCASE II -Directed by‘s Rob Rose and Orville Wright, this concert will feature Berklee's top vocalists including Lynne Fiddmont, Ruth Juon, Ellen O'Brien and Walter Beasley. THE COLLEGE SINGERS IN CONCERT - Faculty vocalist Kenneth Greenhouse conducts the 54-member Berklee College Singers through a program featuring 20th century music styles. LOVE WILL COME TO STAY - An exciting program of original pop, reggae, calypso and funk is offered by student pianist Ovid Alexis. THE BERKLEE JAZZ CHOIR - A vocal concert of jazz and pop music performed in a variety of settings is directed by Stephen Prosser of the Berklee faculty.
