Since the presidential election, students across the nation are looking for space to discuss and reflect on the world. Whether students are elated or saddened by the outcome, we need to encourage them to find their voice. Musicians and performing artists have a unique opportunity to expand the conversation through their artistry. Please join us in the conversation, and learn valuable resources to encourage, engage, and explore this topic with your students while continuing to build a safe and inclusive classroom community. —Presented by: Chris Kandus-Fisher and Christy Anthony —Hosted by: DJ Hatfield In the Kitchen with Randall Sherman 160 Massachusetts Avenue, Berklee Dining Hall Randall Sherman, Berklee's executive chef, will prepare seared red snapper with champagne butter sauce, roasted asparagus, charred tomato, and jasmine scallion rice. Sherman joined the Berklee dining team in May 2016, after 10 years as executive chef at the Toftrees Golf Resort and Conference Center in his hometown of State College, Pennsylvania. He received his culinary degree from Johnson & Wales in Providence, Rhode Island. He then began his culinary tour at the Harvard Club, and then for A Catered Affair. Before taking the executive chef position at the resort, Sherman realized his dream when he opened his own restaurant and catering company in Pennsylvania. “To me, food is a very personal and passionate journey where one
