Concurrent Session V Tihai and Ginti 136 Massachusetts Avenue, Room B16 Say what? Say “te te ka ta ga di ge na dha.” In this interactive session, nine syllables from Indian tabla drumming will be used to build rhythm cadences that can be applied to any instrument or context. But why get bogged down with complicated questions like, “What's a tihai?” Ginti are compositions built using numbers that can be converted into melodies. Come and discover something uniquely cool and accessible. All you need to know is how to count from one to nine. —Presented by: Jerry Leake —Hosted by: Mark Poniatowski Spirituality in the Classroom 150 Massachusetts Avenue, Room 118 Does your spiritual belief system affect your teaching?
