May 2 — 7:30 p.m. Quiet World - Original Contemporary Fusion — Faculty member Tiger Okoshi presents his student fusion and contemporary jazz ensembles performing Okoshi originals. Focusing on the color , the shape, blend, brightness/darkness and harmonics of each instrument the arrangements are designed for the soloist to tell long stories and develop mature contents of improvisational solos.
