Each concert in this new series highlights one of the College's departments, tonight's being produced under the auspices of the Berklee Pop Songwriting Department, headed by Tony Teixeira. "The Best Of Berklee's Pop Songwriters Concerts" showcases songs from concerts given by the Pop Song- writers course each semester and includes songs which have won honorable mention and top awards in the Amer- ican Songwriter's Festival, Through the guidance of Tony, Dr. Jim Harper, head of the English Department, and Jon Aldrich, tonight's presentation reflects the variety of styles and enjoyment of Today's Pop Song.
