Backed up by one of the hot- test bands in the college, this concert promises to be one of the best of the semester. JIM MOSLEY PRODUCTIONS — A program ranging from Contem- porary to Instrumental Funk is presented by Saxophonist James Mos- ley, "The Band” and Special Guest Faculty Saxophonist Herman Johnson. 20th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT — DIRECTED BY BHIL WILSON — The 20th anniversary of the Dues Band will be celebrated By this spar- kling new band performing original music written by Phil Wilson and members of the group with Special Guest saxophonist Richie Cole. DETERMINED — The Reverence Gospel Ensemble, directed by David Chandler presents a program of traditional and contemporary Gospel music featuring some of Berklee’s most talented student vocalists. INSTRUMENTAL SHOWCASE — The Performance Studies Depart- ment presents a special concert featuring Berklee’s top student instru- mentalists performing arrangements written especially for them ina variety of styles. Double Concert — A COMMON PLACE/THE COLLEGE SINGERS IN CONCERT — In the first half of this two-for-one concert faculty Pianist Orville Wright and faculty Vocalist Mili Bermejo will be joined by bassist Oscar Stagnaro for a program of jazz standards and origials. In the second half Vocal Department Chairman Kenneth Greenhouse con- ducts The College Singers in a program of vocal music drawn from a variety of 20th century styles. BACK BAY BRASS JAZZ ORCHESTRA — The 18 piece Back Bay Brass will present a program of big band jazz compositions and arrangements by director faculty trombonist Ben ElKins. THE STUDIO ORCHESTRA CONCERT — Faculty Arranger/Composer Donny Nolan leads the Studio Orchestra in a program featuring his own compositions as well as works by top student writers. TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS 15 — Rob Rose leads the Berklee Jazz/ Rock Ensemble in a tribute to the music of Paul Simon. THE BERKLEE CONCERT WIND ENSEMBLE — Faculty tubist Greg Fritze returns to the Berklee Performance Center stage to lead his stu- dent ensemble through a program of traditional and 20th Century music featuring “Concord Bridge” by faculty composer John Bavicchi.
