BERKLEE PERFORMANCE CENTER CONCERTS SPRING 84 January 31 OUT AT HOME - Original jazz-rock featuring the talents of Jim Odgren is presented by guitarist -Jim Kelly of the Berklee faculty. February EXTRAVAGANCED GRANDIZEMENT - The first half of the concert will feature a large percussion/wind orchestra playing a program that blends jazz, rock, afro and other ethnic influences. The second half of this concert will feature contemporary jazz by the grouH;"Minotour". February CROSSBREEZE - Faculty guitarist Ken Taft leads his group through a program of fusion music that features synthesized guitar and lyricon. February 7 SCREAMUS FUNKUS - The Berklee "Tower Of Power" ensemble UPLANDS strikes again with another high energy performance of progressive pop/rock. February JAN JARCZYK SOLO, QUARTET AND 12 PIECE ORCHESTRA - Jan Jarczyk returns to the Berklee Performance Center stage to present an evening of original compositions written for a var}ety of settine=. 2 February UN POCO LOCO - Original latin music, featuring the talents of saxophonist Allan Chase, drummer/vibrophonist Ed Uribe and vocalist Mili Berme jo is presented by Berklee faculty member Victor Mendoza. 4 February BOYLSTON WOODWIND TRIO - This trio, comprised of flutist Matt Marvuglio, clarinetist Andre Lizotte and Steve Young on bassoon, will present a program of works ranging from classical to contemporary. — February I DON'T WASTE TIME - Straight ahead jazz will be presented by student saxophonist James Gates. Special guests will include pianist James Williams and tenor saxophonist Bill Pierce.
