July 18 Double Concert — ORIENTAL POWER II/SCOTT ROSE
QUARTET PLUS - Keyboardist Jenny Chin leads her
group through a program of original compositions
and arrangements, Jazz improvisation featuring a
saxophone trio is presented by alto saxophonist
Scott Rose and his group.

July 25 MUSIC GALLERY - The Haruno Group, led by Haruno
Shitara, will perform original compositions and
arrangements in a variety of musical settings.

July 26
SOPHISTICATED LADY - Jazz, latin jazz,
contemporary and original compositions will be
performed by vocalist Brigette Beech and her
group.

July 30 Double Concert - THE INCREDIBLE FLYING YEWCHUCK
BROTHERS/FULLCIRCLE - The first half of the
concert will feature original jazz in a small
group setting. In the second half, keyboardist
Karl Lundeberg returns to the Performance Center
stage to lead his group Full Circle through a
program of original jazz compositipns.

August 1 SONGS OF SAPPHO - A variety of musical styles
ranging from hardcore punk to soothing ballads,
featuring original compositions, will be
presented by Steve Weisberg and his group.

August 2 ERIK HANSON AND MIKE GIBBS - This concert will
showcase original jazz composed by Erik Hanson
and special guest Mike Gibbs. Featured soloists
will include trumpeter Richard Hollyday,
guitarist Bruce Arnold and alto saxophonist
Chris Hunter.
