PROGRAM CREDITS

For Rob Rose, there is no challenge too imposing, no obstacle too immense to
overcome—the show must go on. In every situation, from our Berklee stages, to the
High School Jazz Festival, Berklee Gala, and Beantown Jazz Festival, he brings out the
best in Berklee student performers. He is a consummate producer with the heart of
an educator. All of us learn from watching Rob work.

I'll never forget the Berklee Performance Center concert Rob produced following the
tragic events on Boylston Street on Patriots’ Day in 2013. All of our confusion, fear, and
pent-up anxiety was released by coming together as a community to celebrate our
solidarity and resilience. It was a moment of pure joy when musical theater students
performed “Let the Sunshine In.” For Rob, it was another day’s good work.
