- Guitarist Torsten de Winkel opens this concert with original contemporary
eclectic music for his quintet with faculty synthesist Jamshied Sharifi. In the second
half, bassist Andreas Fliflet presents his arrangements of jazz, Latin and R&B
compositions by Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Tower of Power
and others performed by a large ensemble.
