FALL 1990

October 3 THE ADVENTURES OF APRIL AND BOB—Voice depart-
ment faculty members April Arabian and Bob Stoloff will perform
a variety of contemporary vocal arrangements both a cappella and
accompanied by a faculty rhythm section of Orville Wright, piano;
Dave Clark, bass; and John Ramsay, drums.

October 9 AN EVENING WITH TRANSUNIVERSE FIELDS—Faculty
synthesist/composer Chris Noyes presents an evening of original,
conceptual New Age music performed by the electronic music trio
Transuniverse Fields.

October 10 RAIN PEOPLE —Faculty vocalist Mili Bermejo and bassist
Dan Greenspan present Quartet Nuevo performing various Latin
styles, including Mexican, Cuban, Argentinian and salsa, with a
touch of jazz. The quartet, which includes faculty pianist Tim Ray
and drummer Fernando Martinez, will be joined by special guest
guitarist Claudio Ragazzi and will feature material from their latest
recording as well as a series of voice-piano, voice-guitar and voice-
bass duets.
