| first met Rob as a student when | first played for the Singers’ Showecase. It was the dress rehearsal, the night before the concert. We had the concert planned and | was the pianist. Suddenly, Rob Rose shows up with his very distinguished way with his cowboy hat. A man of few words, but very precise on what needed to be changed in order to reach excellence. In another words, a true producer. As a person, Rob is like a father to me. He was always there for me. One of my favorite attributes of Rob is the way he cares for his family. His love towards them does impact the way he does his job here at Berklee. Rob, thanks for loving me from day one, for putting on the spotlight in all the shows you had me as pianist at BPC. Thanks for trusting me when others wouldn't. Thanks for supporting me behind doors and for seeing in me what | could not see. Thanks for the example you are as a husband, father, and just as a human being. | so appreciate you. As a songwriter wrote, | will always love you. If | may add, | will always appreciate you for your love for God and us, the human beings before you. | will miss you... Jetro Da Silva
