student orchestra will

Music Festival:
The Music

of Persia

“The Music of Persia,”
will bring into focus
music traditions of the
Balkans and the
Caucasus, with an
emphasis on Persian
music. It will feature
world-renowned names
from the Persian
tradition, the Pletenitsa
Balkan Choir, the Middle
Eastern Fusion Festival
band, the Berklee World
Strings (directed by
Eugene Friesen) and
many other special
