Berklee Performance Center Concerts March 9- Michel Camilo and Joe Lovano: Solos and Duets — Berklee's Herb Alpert Visiting Professor pianist Michel Camilo and the Gary Burton Chair in Jazz Performance, saxophonist Joe Lovano, perform jazz and Latin originals and standards in solo and duet settings. $20 for the general public and $15 for seniors March 10- Women Musicians Network - Women Musicians Network is proud to pres- ent its 8th annual Berklee Performanc Center showcase. A highlight of Women's History Month, the show features original composi- tions and arrangements produced and per- formed by Berklee woman students. This year’s line up includes Latin jazz, pop, folk, Celtic, alternative rock, Gamelon, tango, and Christian rock. Join us in celebrating the tal- ent of Berklee women. March 22- Jazz Revelations Records Presents : Two - Beklee's Jazz recording label presents an artist showcase featuring big band com- positions by Asuka Kakitani and John Pyykko, and groups led by tenor saxophonist Mike Tucker, guitarist Nir Felder and Drummer Dave Lewis. March 24- International Folk Festival- The 19th annual International Folk Music Festival will feature a wide variety of performers. The countries and styles represented at this year's concert include Indonesia, Puerto Rico, Argenting, Ireland, Scotland, Colombia, U.S.A., Mexico, Klezmer, and Bluegrass. This show is part of the Nothing Conservatory Concert series. March 28- Pop/Rock Live 2005- The 17th annual Rock Arranging Live concert high- lights the best music written by some of the most talented student songwriters and Berklee College of Music www.berklee.edu 1140 Boylston Street Boston, MA 02215-3693 arrangers. Under the direction of faculty member Mirek Kocandrle, this concert will present a variety of original compositions as well as new arrangements of standard rock/pop repertoire featuring some of the college's finest vocalists and instrumentalists. March 29- Singer’s Night - Outstanding stu- dent vocalists representing all semester levels will perform in a variety of styles including jazz, rock, R&B, country and Latin under the direction of the Singers Night Team. April 6- Writing Division Awards- The Professional Writing Division presents it annu- - al Awards Concert featuring award-winning writers from the division. April 8- Yellowjackets Songbook - The Yellowjackets Songbook Russell Ferrante and Marcus Baylor of the Yellowjackets will lead a group of students in performance of the Yellowjackets vocal song- book.
