BERKLEE PERFORMANCE CENTER CONCERTS June 27 June 28 July 6 Summer 83 JEFF LINK AND "TOMODACHI" - Faculty bassist Jeff Link leads his ensemble, "Tomodachi", through a program of mainstream jazz originals. MISSION OF MUSIC FOR "P" AND "G" — A program of Be-Bop, original jazz, R & B, rock and funk is offered by Richard Iannuzzi and his quintet. A DOUBLE CONCERT - PEACE OF MIND/ OPEN TIMES ~Composer/vocalist Yoko Asano and pianist Bill Champitto present a program of pop, rock and funk, The second half of the concert will feature styles ranging from reggae to straight ahead jazz performed by Richard Schumacher and his quintet. THE OKAI BAND - Student guitarist Makoto Okai will lead his group through an evening of high energy original jazz fusion and funk. BODY AND SOUL REVISITED - Two outstanding musicians, clarinetist John La Porta and pianist Bob Winter, return to the Berklee Performance Center stage to present an evening of contemporary jazz, THROUGH A GLASS, DARKLY - Vocalist/ trumpeter Randy Crenshaw, along with some of Berklee's most talented student and faculty performers, will present an exciting program of fusion, funk, jazz and pop. THE LITTLE THING WE DO TOGETHER - Directed by Thomas Martin, this concert will showcase vocalist Elizabeth Richardson performing a collection of favorite musical theatre moments and feature arrangements by faculty members Greg Hopkins, Orville Wright, Barrie Nettles and Tom Frazee. ”
