Berklee Performance Center Concerts November 13 - Totems and Factotums - The Contemporary Writing and Production Department faculty, under the direction of Bob Doezema and " Department Chair Jay Kennedy showcase their compositions and arrangements in a variety of styles including funk, Rhythm & Blues, Salsa, jazz, calypso and s others. November 17 - Concert Wind Ensemble - Under the direction of Composition department assistant Chair Greg Fritze, this 50 member ensemble of woodwinds, brass and percussion will perform calssical music featuring a piece by faculty v composer Louis Stewart. November 20 - Singers Showcase - Singers Showcase, under the direction of the Yo Team, will feature student vocalists Julie Chen, Marc Lacuesta, Robin McElhatten, Karina Kampe, Nicole Jones, Eric Wainaina, Yuko Hata, Gary King e and Rhea Dummett. They will be performing arrangements from the music of Bobby McFerrin, Leann Rimes, Kenny Loggins, Mary J. Blige, Steven Sondheim, > Al Jarreau, Ingocnito, and many others. November 24 - This Is How We Do It - The Ensemble Department faculty showcases its talents in an evening of varied styles and instrumental settings. Groups led by faculty members Bob Schlink, Walter Beasley, Gearge Zonce, Dennis Montgomery, Consuelo Candelaria, Winston MacCow, Lin Biviano and Paul Fontaine will play rock-fusion, pop, rhythm & blues, Latin jazz, gospel, funk and jazz for big band and small group. Other featured faculty include Jerry 552 Cecco, Dennis Cecere, Josh Davis, Paul Elmen, Dave Hollender, Ron Mahdi, Bruce Nifong, Marcello Pelliteri, John Pierce, Bill Pierce, Bruno Raberg, Ron 5 5 Savage, Dave Weigert, Carolyn Wilkins, Frank Wilkins, and Orville Wright. November 25 - Criss Cross - The Berklee Thelonious Monk Ensemble, directed by faculty guitarist Rick Peckham, presents compositions by Thelonious Monk performed by a sextet. % December 1 - He Shall Reign Forever and Ever - The Berklee Reverence Gospel Ensemble, and the small group, Overjoyed, under the direction of Dennis < Montgomery II, present an evening of contemporary and traditional gospel music written and composed by Kurt Karr, Kirk Franklin, David Balfour, Darius Brooks and Montgomery. December 2 - Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra - December 3 - An Evening with the Berklee Rainbow Band - Small and large £ ensembles will perform jazz rock and fusion compositions under the direction of facutly composer/arranger/trombonist Phil Wilson.
