April 22, 7:30pm- The Music of Ornette Coleman Ensemble — Faculty member Jeff Galindo leads this ensemble performing the music of the famed saxophonist and composer. April 23, 1:00pm- European Contemporary Music Ensemble - Faculty member Bruno Raberg presents this ensemble performing music from the ECM recording company. April 23, 2:30pm- The Music of Jimi Hendrix - Student ensembles perform music by Jimi Hendrix under the direction of faculty member Kenwood Dennard. April 23, 4:00pm- Music of Tower Of Power - The Music of Tower of Power per- formed by a student ensemble under the direction of faculty member Wayne Naus. April 23, 7:30pm- The Music of James Brown - Student ensembles perform mu- sic by James Brown under the direction of faculty member Kenwood Dennard. April 26, 1:00pm- Advanced Small Band Ensemble — Post Bop and contempo- rary jazz compositions by John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Freddie Hubbard, Mike Brecker and Joe Henderson will be performed by this eight piece ensemble di- rected by Ed Tomassi. April 26, 2:30pm- World Music Ensemble — Original compositions using different world music influences in a contemporary setting will be performed by an 8-piece ensemble directed by James Kachulis. April 26, 4:00pm- Music of the Beatles directed by Lauren Passarelli April 26, 7:30pm- Music From Holland - Faculty member Lello Molinari presents this Berklee ensemble performing the music of famed bassist Dave Holland (H'00). April 27, 1:00pm- Advanced Small Band Ensemble - Straight ahead jazz by Sonny Rollins, Wayne Shorter, Benny Golson and others will be performed by a sextet under the direction of Andy McGhee. April 27, 2:30pm- Music of Miles Davis Electric Bands - Under the direction of Kenneth Cervenka, this student ensemble performs the music of Miles Davis from 1969-1991 featuring music from in A Silent Way, Amandla and TuTu.
